First Class Catering Ltd is a family run business owned by Matthew and Nicola Wainwright, who are both classically trained chefs, and also professionally qualified silver service waiters , accredited with City and Guilds National Diplomas in Culinary Skills and Professional Food and Beverage Service.
Matthew and Nicky have experience working in Jersey and also internationally in Bermuda and Australia.
First Class Catering was launched in 1993 after Matthew and Nicky aquired the franchise of the Galley Bar and Restaurant , located at the historic and popular St Helier Yacht Club Jersey, whose membership extends to over 3000.
Since 1993 the company has branched out and is able to provide a diverse range of catering options .
On 1st October 2018 First Class Catering Ltd took on a brand new enterprise . After 25 years serving the members of the St Helier Yacht Club, FCC moved on to a new and exciting venture . Bowlers Bistro is situated in the lovely clubhouse of Les Creux Bowling Club (a private members club) which is situated in the stunningly beautiful and natural surroundings of Les Creux Country Park, St Brelade .
